CorticoDB: Clinical Data Agent
The problem
Healthcare researchers need to extract insights from complex clinical databases like MIMIC-III, but doing so requires deep SQL expertise and intimate knowledge of the schema — a barrier that puts the data out of reach for most clinicians and analysts.
What was built
An agentic AI platform that lets users query clinical databases in plain language. An orchestrator agent interprets each question, generates validated SQL, and retrieves patient data. A self-healing RAG service keeps the agent grounded in the live schema, reducing hallucinated queries. Built with a BYOK (bring your own key) security architecture so sensitive health data never leaves the user's control.
